Zane Cornoyer was raised in a Christian home where his parents faithfully taught him the Word of God and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of ten, after coming under conviction of his sin, he personally placed his faith and trust in Jesus Christ as his Saviour. Soon after his salvation, Zane sensed God's call to preach, and a year later he surrendered to that calling at Common Ground Baptist Camp. Having grown up in a pastor's home, he was actively involved in ministry from an early age through soul-winning, children's ministry, and opportunities to teach and preach. After graduating from high school, Zane attended Independent Baptist Bible College and graduated with honors in 2022. He continued serving at High Point Independent Baptist Church, where he has ministered under the leadership of his late father, Pastor Scott Cornoyer, and his father-in-law, Pastor Joseph Schmidley. The church family unanimously voted Zane Cornoyer in as pastor on May 24, 2026. He is excited for this new chapter in his life; and his desire is to faithfully preach God's Word, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and help believers grow in their walk with the Lord.
